Good Shepherd is a life-changing fellowship of men, women and children who share their experience, strength and faith with each other that they may solve their common problem and help others to recover from chronic sin and addiction. Our primary purpose is to love God and to help others come to know the love of God through Jesus Christ, by following him and the practical program for spiritual living described in the New Testament.
We are a new church located in San Marcos, in the North County area of San Diego. We currently worship in a dedicated space at Meadowlark Community Church. We are affiliated with the worldwide Anglican Communion.
Our people come from a variety of religious backgrounds, including Agnostic, Atheist, Baptist, Episcopalian, Methodist, Presbyterian, and Roman Catholic. At Good Shepherd we celebrate traditional Christian values in a contemporary way. We worship in the Anglican tradition, which, we believe, upholds the best of both Catholic and Protestant belief and practice. Our services include both contemporary music and traditional hymns, prayer, scripture, holy communion, and powerful preaching, to bring a timeless message to today’s people.
Good Shepherd is dedicated to sharing the life-changing Gospel of Jesus Christ. We especially have a heart for the stressed-out, the broken, the failed, the turned-off, the chronic sinner, and the addict — for that is who we are, only we have been shown a way of life that has brought us peace, healing, success, inspiration, and freedom. We love to share it with others.
